Going wholesale

Local artists, high quality crafters and specialty food makers have a chance to see their products expand to regional gift shops, galleries, and bookstores.

A two-day Northland Flavor Marketplace will be held March 7-8 (a Sunday and Monday) at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in downtown Duluth where local artists can display their products for retail representatives looking for unique products to add to their inventory.

The wholesale event is sponsored by Northeast Entrepreneur Fund which helps people start small businesses in the Northland. Its new Northland Flavor program is helping local artists — from photograhers to potters — find new markets and increase their earnings.
