Glancing over a press release from KDAL AM on its new weekday lineup, I wondered: Is this really something for BIZ Blog or is it actually entertainment news?
Some old favorites will still be there when the lineup changes Monday, though air times may shift. The Cadigan & Jordan Show still kicks off the morning at 5 a.m. Conservative talker Glen Beck moves up from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m and grouchy Joe Soucheray’s "Garage Logic" still airs from 2 to 5 p.m.
But when I saw that among the new additions is consumer whiz Clark Howard in the 1 to 2 p.m. slot, replacing Northland Business Focus, that cinched it for this BIZ Blogger. When I catch Howard’s lively interactive weekend cable show on CNN, geared to us — the consumer, who deal with everyday problems — I always learn something useful.
Need advice on how to negotiate down your credit card interest rate? Have you been scammed? Should you buy that extended warranty?
Howard has the answers.
While we’re sorry to see any local program dealing with business issues off the air, we welcome Howard’s know-how to daily Twin Ports radio.
