KDAL 610 changes its lineup

Glancing over a press release from KDAL AM on its new weekday lineup, I wondered: Is this really something for BIZ Blog or is it actually entertainment news?

Some old favorites will still be there when the lineup changes Monday, though air times may shift. The Cadigan & Jordan Show still kicks off the morning at 5 a.m. Conservative talker Glen Beck moves up from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m and grouchy Joe Soucheray’s "Garage Logic" still airs from 2 to 5 p.m.

But when I saw that among the new additions is consumer whiz Clark Howard in the 1 to 2 p.m. slot, replacing Northland Business Focus, that cinched it for this BIZ Blogger. When I catch Howard’s lively interactive weekend cable show on CNN, geared to us — the consumer, who deal with everyday problems — I always learn something useful.

Need advice on how to negotiate down your credit card interest rate? Have you been scammed? Should you buy that extended warranty?

Howard has the answers.

While we’re sorry to see any local program dealing with business issues off the air, we welcome Howard’s know-how to daily Twin Ports radio.

Here’s the new 610 KDAL weekday lineup starting Monday:

5 a.m. to 9 a.m.: The Cadigan & Jordan Show

9 a.m. to 10 a.m.: "Dave & Dave" with Dave Walter and Dave Strandberg

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Glen Beck

1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Clark Howard

2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: "Garage Logic" with Joe Soucheray

5 p.m. to 8 p.m.: The Jason Lewis Show (In this new offering out of Minneapolis, Lewis brings a sense of humor to serious issues as well as sports, trivia, music and movies).

8 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Dave Ramsey

11 p.m. to 5 a.m." "Coast-to-Coast AM" with George Noory who explores the world’s mysteries and bizarre happenings

  1. The only channels that work on the internet are WWJC and KUMD. What a joke! Obviously, the freak cheap owners of the channels in your town are broke, or near bankruptcy. Their internet links DO NOT work.
We ex-Duluthians would like to listen to shows such as Cadigan/Jordan to enjoy and chuckle….
    What a joke!

  2. well i think they could do away with cadigan and jordan they are not funny anymore same old same old garage logic is the best thing they have and clark howard will be a good addition

  3. Garage Logic is by far the best program KDAL or any other station offers. The rest is brutal.
