With remodeling complete, the Red Lobster restaurant in Duluth’s Canal Park now sports a look look inspired by the New England coast.
To give guests a feel of seaside dining, the restaurant now has a nautical decor, including ship lanterns, signal flags, artwork and Andirondack-style chairs. A new stone tower is similar to what is seen throughout New England.
The updating includes expanded seating for large parties, energy saving upgrades and wood-fired grills. The menu has also been expanded with more fish and shrimp entrees, more non-seafood offerings and more lighter options.
The redesign is part of a brand refreshening launched by the Red Lobster chain.
The restaurant, at 301 S. Lake Ave., donated its old furnishings to a Habitat for Humanity resale outlet to sell to raise money to build homes for families in need.
